Who We Are

The IMPACT Outreach Ministry of Central Florida Inc.

Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. The IMPACT Outreach Ministry of Central Florida Inc. (IMPACT) emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. IMPACT is a faith-based, 501(c)3 educational foundation, established to make a difference in the lives of youth and adults in Central Florida through diverse academic, social, spiritual and recreational programs and services that inspire hope, motivate change, and yield positive outcomes. IMPACT is located just south of the Orlando downtown area in unincorporated Orange County, Florida, zip code 32839. Since its founding in 2011, IMPACT has acted as an advocate for those in need in Central Florida communities, thereby fulfilling our mission of “Instilling meaningful priorities and changing tomorrows one life at a time through education, rehabilitation, and empowerment regardless of race or religion”. Contact us to learn more and get involved.

It is documented that nine (9) zip codes 32808, 32805, 32839, 32811, 32818, 32810, 32801, 32822, and 32703 accounted for most of the juvenile arrests and detention, dependency involvement, abuse and neglect reports, low 3rd grade FSA reading scores, low performing schools, teen pregnancies, and infant mortalities in Orange County Florida (Forefront Report, 2016)

Our Youth Empowerment Programs, are our primary focus at The IMPACT Outreach Ministry of Central Florida Inc. Most of our efforts pertaining to these programs involve studying new approaches (S.T.E.M and S.T.E.A.M) and developing innovative ways to implement them. Our Youth Empowerment Programs provide the following:

  • high-yield learning activities for academic enrichment.

  • S.T.E.M and S.T.E.A.M based programming that incorporates activities to foster parental involvement with their child(ren).

  • Programming that teaches and encourages youth to use sound decision-making and positive interaction with peers and authority figures.

  • Programming that promotes leadership and social responsibility in youth.

  • Programming that participates in a coordinated, community-level strategy to address issues among at-risk youth populations.

  • Programming that implements evidence-based practices supported by research and evaluation.

We evaluate our success in this field by gathering qualitative and quantitative data, and using that information to measure shifts and changes from our baseline measurements. Get in touch with us today and see how you can lend a helping hand with this program.

Adult Education Empowerment Programs

IMPACT Mentoring, Adult Literacy, ESOL, and T.I.O.M

We see every challenge as an opportunity, and our Adult Education Empowerment Programs help us tackle the big issues of adult literacy that plagues our Central Florida Communities. The National Centers for the Study of Adult Learning and Literacy (NCALL) studies document the importance and impacts Adult Literacy and other Adult Educational Enrichment programs have on their communities in the United States. Through our Adult Mentoring, Adult ESOL, and T.I.O.M programs, we are invested in an innovative approach that empowers our community and delivers the support they need, when they need it. Our Adult Empowerment programs are designed to help participants gain: improved self-confidence and self-esteem; improvement in reading, writing, and mathematics competencies, GED acquisition and continued education; improved employability skills, employment mobility, and increased earnings; parents’ involvement in their children’s education; and achievement of their personal goals; a reduction in welfare dependence; and ultimately, the ability to achieve their own personal goals. Get in touch with us today and see how you can lend a helping hand though these programs.

Community Development Programs

IMPACT Food Pantry and  IMPACT Grocery Alliance

Today, more Central Floridians are experiencing food insecurity than ever before. 14.6% of the Central Florida population is food insecure, with 614,090 people who do not know where their next meal is coming from. 21% of children in Central Florida live in food insecure households, leaving 184,470 children at risk of going to bed hungry tonight. Through our Support Services (IMPACT Food Pantry and IMPACT Grocery Alliance), we have the potential to make a real and positive change in this area in the community. Meeting this need is one of our key areas of focus here at The IMPACT Outreach Ministry of Central Florida Inc., and through our mutually beneficial partnership with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, a source of much success for our nonprofit organization. Get in touch with us today and see how you can lend a helping hand with this program.
